Hey Sheri, I have a question.
Hi,
Shortly after you started your blog, I left two comments for you. They never showed up on your site. I just assumed that you were monitoring your comments, and that you recieved them, but didn't pass them on to your blog. I really don't know how the monitoring works, but thats what I was thinking.
Recently, I've had a visitor to my blog and I've been helping her with a peek-a-boo task list. I have left 3 comments on her site, but only 1 showed up. Again, I thought maybe she was monitoring. But it occured to me that both of you use the word verification, jobby-do. I checked on www.bloggerforum.com and it seems like people are having various problems with the word verification.
My question is, did you ever receive a comment from me on your kennard5 blog? If you didn't, you may want to try turning off your word verification and see if you can receive comments. You should still be able to monitor the comments without it on. If you are monitoring, now I'm not sure you are.
Has anyone else used the word verification?
Jeri

I did not receive the comments, so I will go out and work on turning off that word thing. Thanks for the info!
Sheri
I left a comment on your blog. Word verification is on and it told me that you are monitoring your comments and that the comment wouldn't show up until you approved it. I didn't say anything worth sharing so you don't need to approve it, but let me know if you receive it or not.
I checked my settings and do not have word verification on. Sheri's problem is that Greg comes home from work earlier than her and looks at the e-mails. I suspect he reads them and then deletes them not knowing that he has to publish them to the blog. I did that a couple of times early on for comments made by Jeri and Dena.
I solved it by allowing all comments and will change it if the comments get out of hand. (Which I doubt.)
Ahh, that explains it.
