It's really winter here!

Man O Man! We had a record high of 73 degrees here in Topeka on Tuesday and woke up Wednesday morning to 32 degrees, our high for the day, and ice, rain, sleet and lightning before the day ended. What a difference a day makes!!!!! We have 19 degrees this morning with refrozen slush on the roads and schools closed all over northeast Kansas. There is 4 to 6 inches of snow expected today on top of that ice. Bah humbug!!!!

Wow! Weather like that is what drives us south each winter!!!! At this moment we are in Benson, AZ which is at about 4000 feet altitude and cooler than the lower desert.

The front that brought you that cold is here also and we are at about 28 degrees this morning and will be about 57 degrees for a high.

Anybody at home?

I have been checking the blogs of the group for some time now and it is always the same thing with nothing new! Did everyone die? Did everyone give up on their 101 things to do in 1001 days? Did they decide to not update their blogs?
Is Jeri still writing????? It seems that July was hard on everyone as they slipped into inactivity. Hey, It is getting cool out now. How about you all waking up and smelling the blog again so we can keep up with how you are doing.

Niki, Jeri, Dena, Deanna, Sheri, Hello!

Well, I have not been idle like the rest of the group! I have been blogging my little heart out but I don't know if anyone is noticing. Poor little Neal. So lonely here in cyberspace.

Hi Neal,
I've been following the "lonely cyberspace blogger" and reading your most of your posts. You have certainly not been idle!!! Thanks!

We realy have just all quit posting on our blogs. I'm sure that I've done something on my list but haven't updated my blog. :(

I actually have Our Kitchen Table as my home page. You'd think that would remind me to post something once in awhile. :}

Maybe we will all wake up and smell the blog this winter!!! Thanks for the wake up call.

Ah, Thanks Dena, That makes me feel much better!
Yes, I think that this winter everyone will take time out to share with others their blogs.

I have been having fun posting as we wander around. Stopped for Thanksgiving but will head out Monday to do some more Geocaching and exploring.

Neal
