It's really winter here!
Man O Man! We had a record high of 73 degrees here in Topeka on Tuesday and woke up Wednesday morning to 32 degrees, our high for the day, and ice, rain, sleet and lightning before the day ended. What a difference a day makes!!!!! We have 19 degrees this morning with refrozen slush on the roads and schools closed all over northeast Kansas. There is 4 to 6 inches of snow expected today on top of that ice. Bah humbug!!!!

Wow! Weather like that is what drives us south each winter!!!! At this moment we are in Benson, AZ which is at about 4000 feet altitude and cooler than the lower desert.
The front that brought you that cold is here also and we are at about 28 degrees this morning and will be about 57 degrees for a high.
